pop'n music 18: Sengoku Retsuden (ポップンミュージック18 せんごくれつでん poppun myujikku 18 Sengoku Retsuden?) is a 2010 music & rhythm video game by BEMANI and Konami. It is the 18th main installment in the pop'n music series.

The game features some remixes of music themes from GetsuFumaDen. Getsu Fuma, Ryukotsuki and other guest characters appear in animations to accompany these themes.

Gameplay[]

The main theme of pop'n music 18: Sengoku Retsuden is, as its name suggests, the Sengoku period.

Sengoku Retsuden marks the introduction of the e-AMUSEMENT PASS members site, where players' stats can be viewed from a home computer and a function linked with the PSP version pop'n music portable has also been set.

The two-track guarantee, which was only present in CHALLENGE mode in previous games, has now been set in SUPER CHALLENGE mode.

The EXPERT mode from previous games has been removed.

Internet ranking has been integrated into SUPER CHALLENGE mode and the process now involves competing with individual songs, which is registered by selecting and playing the music theme that appears in the timed distribution event from the dedicated category.

An equivalent song to the usual "conditional hidden song at the beginning of game" was also distributed here. It occurs after the end of the online battle, where up to three people play a high-difficulty score to defeat a boss. "Boss Battle" and its song are specified.

Introducing the "pop'n test" event, which clears under the above conditions.
